The Wellsummers are a new addition to K&L Farms' breeding program this year. We've always had hens in our general flocks but this year we also brought in some roosters to be able offer purebreds. This breed is renowned for consistent egg production featuring distinctive speckled shells—our birds we chosen to hopefully produce exceptionally heavy speckled patterns that distinguish them in any flock. Wellsummer's are valued for their reliable laying performance and striking aesthetic appeal. Their heavily marked eggs make them an excellent choice for producers seeking both productivity and visual distinction in their operation.
