As a purebred Ameraucana, this breed offers bright blue eggs due to its double homozygous for blue genes. The option for straight run means you get a mixture of male and female chickens. With blue, black, and ermine all in one pen, you get a beautiful variety of colors to enhance your flock.
We currently have a mixed flock of Black, Blue and ermine so feather patterns WILL VARY but they are guranteed to lay blue eggs. As all of our birds are Homozygous for Blue genes.
